Visit Katy Adventist Church

Dear Katy family and friends,

In consultation with the health and safety committee and adhering to the judicious vote of the church board, we resumed in-person worship Sabbath, September 26, 2020. On two separate occasions since that reopening, with the wellbeing of members and guests in mind, we closed the church building for a brief period of time when we were informed that persons in attendance had tested positive for COVID-19.

In these uncertain times, your health and safety is a major priority of Katy leadership. Therefore, we have made updates to our in-person worship experience. Beginning Sabbath, August 14, 2021 mask wearing is mandatory for all worshippers aged two (2) and above, irrespective of vaccination status. Maintain social distance of three (3) to six (6) feet between individual congregants or family units. Onsite registration will be in place upon entering the building.

We emphasize and encourage personal responsibility and care for one another. Please stay home when sick, or if you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, quarantine and take all necessary health precautions. When attending in person, wash and/or sanitize your hands. Hand sanitizing stations are within and without the sanctuary. Feel free to worship with an awareness that the virus and its variants are among us.

You are encouraged to stay connected throughout the week by joining any of our small groups. We will continue to stream Sabbath School and Divine Service at 10:00 AM and 11:20 AM, respectively on the following platforms:

The Katy Church Board is in constant communication discussing the best way to address the needs of our local church.
